3 Easy Steps to Reach Your Goals FAST!

When I was going through the process of creating one of my signature programs Rock Your Systems I was having a ton of conversations with biz owners just like you :-). As I was having these conversations I started to notice a common theme throughout these conversations and it has really got me fired up about reaching our goals.

 

You see, the majority of the business owners I have talked to, more than 95%, in fact, are not earning the money they want in their business and they don’t have the freedom they want in their business.

Yikes, that seriously breaks my heart, I mean, you started your biz with a dream and desire to be more, to have more, to have the freedom and if your business isn’t making the money it needs to make to support you it just plain old sucks. I know, I’ve been there, more times than I care to admit, and the truth is, yikes, I really super hate to admit this, but it’s true, so here goes. I still struggle with this sometimes, you know that old saying, the cobbler’s kids don’t have any shoes.

It’s like I have been helping my clients to achieve these results, passive income, consistency, all that stuff and somehow forget that I need to do that for me. Well, not so much that I forget per say, of course, this is a mindset thing too, that I am continuously working on. I don’t have it all figured out yet and trust me, anyone that says they do, well, let’s be honest, it’s total BS. I know, I have worked with multi-millionaire biz owners, and they still struggle with this stuff.

Anyhoo, the point is if this is happening to you, you are not alone, and I’m going to help you fix it so be sure to read on because I am going to share with you what I have noticed is the common thread between those who are not achieving their goals and those who are. 🙂

The good news is it is really simple to fix, so let’s get right on with it so that you can reach your goals fast!

In order to reach your goals quickly you need to:

1- Know what your goals are 

  • What do you really want to achieve, in the next 30, 60, 90 days?
  • How much money do you want to make?
  • WHY – The why is important here because without the why you will likely not achieve your goals because it is not tied to anything, it does not mean anything to you, you have no sense of urgency.

Seriously, this is no joke, this is like one of the biggest reasons why you are NOT reaching your goals, you have zero connection to it. I know, because I did this for years, and I sometimes still kind of get caught up in this stuff. You know what I’m talking about, these vanity numbers, like let’s make a crazy goal of reaching a million dollars this year in my biz because it sounds cool, plus, there is abundance everywhere, right?

Well, yes, but I like to keep it real and while you could reach a million bucks this year in your biz, if you don’t really want it that bad, well then, its most likely not going to happen, plus what got you here sure as heck won’t get you there.

It’s actually way easier to make more money than less money in your biz but you need to have a strategic plan, and a purpose of doing all that otherwise, in my experience you never really get there because you don’t really care about it and you are not connected to it.

Now, of course, if that is your true goal, then go for it! I am cheering you on babe! And I believe in you!

2 – Know what you need to do

Now that you know what you want to achieve, ie, how much money you want to make you need to know what you need to do in order to create the result you are looking for. If you miss this piece the chances of actually getting what you want are slim to none because if you don’t take action then it’s really hard to get what you want. Sure, you might get lucky from time to time but that is certainly no way to run a profitable biz and create consistent and predictable income, and we all know that that is key to creating the freedom and profit you truly desire. 🙂

And I get that, if you believe it you can achieve it, I subscribe to the law of attraction, and I use it every day, on purpose, but with the law of attraction, you still need to actually take action.

Now, I’m not saying you need to hustle 24/7 actually you don’t, and if you come up with a plan, then you won’t have to because you will no what works and what does not work.

Plus, when you start taking action, the Universe meets you halfway, actually, it’s usually way more than halfway, the Universe will do the heavy lifting if you allow it to but you gotta put in the effort too and take the action.

The key here is to take aligned action. What do I mean by aligned action?

Simple, aligned action means it feels good when you do it, as in you agree with the “tactic”, sure you might be scared when you do the thing, and most likely if it’s the first time you are doing the thing, you will be scared, but there is a difference between being scared and doing it, and having the thing that you are trying to do be a thing that makes your stomach turn because you are totally against the tactic.

You are savvy enough to know the difference :-).

Let’s say for example you are in the service-based industry and you want to earn $10,000 in the next 2 weeks. You know that you want to do this because creating this $10,000 in the next 2 weeks allows you to take a much-needed vacation with the kiddos when they are home from school and with that $10k you’ll also be able to be unplugged from your biz.

Okay, great, so now you have your goal + your why now you need to figure out what you gotta do in order reach that goal. Here’s a quick rundown of what this might look like for you to reach this goal.

Let’s say for the sake of this article that in order to create $10,000 you need to sell two packages at $5000 each.

Now, you need to look at what is your conversion rate, ie. how many folks do you need to speak with about your services in order to close the sale and get a new $5000 client?

Great, now you know what you are going to sell, and how many folks roughly you need to speak to.

Next, you are going to need to come up with a plan to actually be able to get these folks on the phone. You could send an email to your list, you could post on social media, you could reach out to past clients and/or current clients to see if there is anything that you can help them with (this is my favorite and the easiest one to do in my opinion because you already have a relationship with them :-)).

Okay, so now you have a rough plan of what you need to do which leads us to the step #3.

3 – Map it out on your calendar

Once you know what it is you want to create and why you want to create it and you know what you need to do you want to next map this out on your calendar.

Let’s go back to the example we talked about in #2, you want to create $10k in the next two weeks, from this step you also know how many people you need to talk to and what strategy you are going to use to get in front of these people.

You can now add this to your calendar based on the amount of time you need to conduct the strategy to get these folks on the phone, have the sales calls, bring the new client on board, etc.

Not only does adding these activities to the calendar help keep you accountable you also know if reaching your goals is achievable if it’s not based on the amount of time you have to devote to this goal go back to # 2 adjust the strategy.

In addition to helping you to figure out if this is actually an achievable goal, you are giving clear signs and taking action towards this goal by doing this step, thus showing the Universe that you mean business. ie. you are taking the aligned action to get the thing that you want and now you can engage with the magic of the Universe to make it so 🙂

That’s it, really simple yet very profound, try it out over the next 30 days and see how much easier it is to achieve your goals.
