Adwords Success Secrets

Unless you have been living on another planet over the last few years you will no doubt be fully aware of what an amazing programme Google Adwords is for driving loads of targeted traffic to your products and affiliate offerings. Or at least it should be! Unfortunately for many people they simply don’t experience the success that they would like to see with their AdWords efforts. However, the good news is that this can be overcome by applying a few solid techniques to any Adwords campaign and letting the improvements multiply over time.

One of the key factors in having success in Adwords is that you want to have a large keyword list full of highly targeted keywords that are related to your niche. Many people struggle to get enough traffic to their sites via Adwords because they are only using a very small number of keywords and another reason is that sometimes the keywords they choose are simply not targeted enough to their offer to produce good conversions. The best solution to this problem is to use a good keyword software to generate as many good related keywords as possible for your campaign. There are many excellent software tools to find keywords on the market and quite probably the pick of the bunch would be Word-Tracker or Keyword Elite. These are paid tools and you should be able to make back your investment very quickly, however, if in the beginning you can’t afford to buy these products then you can use some good free tools such as Keyword Discovery or the Google keyword tool.

The next crucially important point is that you want to have good marketing as part of your business model. If you don’t have a good business model that converts clicks into customers then all of the previous effort is just going to be wasted. What you want is to have good Ads on Adwords and also good Sales pages and/or Squeeze Pages. It is beyond the scope of this article to go into copy-writing in detail but take note that it is extremely important to get this element correct. Learning from great copywriters like Michael Fortin and Dan Kennedy is a very good idea and will stand you in great stead for many years to come.

You also must test your marketing and continually improve upon it in order to bring down the cost of lead acquisition and the conversion rate of your offers. Over time this can create an incredible improvement in your profitability. It is now especially easy and also free because Google has introduced it’s new testing programme Google Analytics.
