I'm Kim Beckers and I get it because not too long ago I too was in your shoes.

Years ago when I started my service based business, I really had NO idea how to get clients on a consistent basis. Sure, I would have clients show up here and there, I would look on forums, and groups + places for other biz owners who needed help but it was really consistent, well, it was consistent in that it was just barely enough or just short of enough but there was never really any flow to it all.

I was able to get clients pretty easily when I found people searching for help but the truth was it was taking a long, long time and I was not really charging what I should have been charging. And what I mean by that is, I would take what I could get, I had a lot of money fear and I kinda still had a bit of employee mindset going on, I was not treating my biz as biz.

I dreamed of creating enough money that would allow me to be able to spend time with my kiddos, and still have a life + still run my biz and I knew I needed to up my game and stop just getting by.

For years, and do mean years, I struggled with making just enough, but I was working my ass off, and it was for very little return, sure my clients were making money, I was helping them to make a lot of money, like 6+ figures from nothing, and crossing the 7 figure mark, but me, not so much. I was struggling to get by with just enough money.

I could find the clients, but I was not owning my value and charging what I should have been charging for the work that I was doing, but I did not see it that way. So, I got more certifications and took more trainings to try and up my skills so that I could earn more money working for clients.

And I invested a lot of money to do this, and then finally, I made the decision to hire a biz mindset mentor and up my mindset game, because I realized, I actually already had everything I needed to succeed and charge premium rates but I did not have the mindset to be in the game.

I made a huge leap of faith when I had to put down a down payment of $20,000 to investment in working with this mentor (money that I did not have, + I did not even have credit cards with that kind of limit), at this point in my life my hubby was bouncing around from job to job (the economy was pretty crappy in NY at that time and work was scarce) We had two small kids, a mortgage and had already ripped through our savings accounts, and 401k accounts, and IRA accounts, at that point in time we were really scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

Yet, my gut told me, Kim, you gotta do this, this is what you have ben asking for and here it is, make a decision and walk in faith. And I did, I made the decision that even though I had no idea where the money was going to come from, that I wanted to do this, shit, I needed to do this if I ever wanted anything to change. I made the decision and in that moment, within 20 seconds of that moment, the way to do it showed up.

I remembered that I had a credit card that I had 0 balance and I just received an offer for 0% financing, the problem was the credit limit was only $5,000 and I needed $20,000 just for the downpayment and then the monthly payments were $6,000 per month. I thought, well, maybe I can call and see if they will raise the limit, I put down the $5,000 downpayment on the card and was given 3 days to get the rest of the $15,000 in order to secure my spot.

I called the credit card company and they raised my limit just in time for the $15,000 charge to go through, okay, at least I was good for a month, now I had to figure out what the hell I was going to do next.

Fast forward a little bit and I have my VIP day with said mentor, I discover during this meeting that the real problem as to why I am not making enough money in my biz is because my environment sucks and is extremely toxic, as in, my life is actually in physical danger and so were my kids, and husband. That day, I decided I was no longer willing to tolerate being in that kind of environment so I flew home that evening and convinced my husband that we needed to leave our lives behind in NY and move across the country.

We had checked out Dallas, TX area a few years prior as it kept popping up on the list of best places to live so decided, well, might as well go there. We knew nobody, had no place to live, no job, no insurance, no back up, shit, we only had $500 to get there but we took the leap of faith.

And every step of the way, the next step was revealed to us, some nights we slept in the car, and only feed the kids, it was a very dark time. But after 3 long days driving 2000+ miles we arrived.

I had no list at the time, no prospects, and just fired all my clients but one and the only income we had coming in was $1500 a month from a retainer client that I was actually working in her business. I knew I wanted to take the leap to be more of a coach and biz consultant and now felt like a great time to take that leap of faith.

Within the first month of moving 2000+ miles to a place where we knew no one, had no connections, no place to live, no list, no nothing, I had secured my first coaching client for a $6,000 pay day, secured a place to live, and got day care for my kids.

Within the next several months I had generated 6+ figures in sales in my biz and started building a team to help me deliver all the services.
