Mindset Hack: Stop waiting the time is now!
The time is now.
Do you ever feel like you are waiting?
To put yourself out there.
To go after your dreams.
To live your life.
To be the best version of you?
Perhaps, you tell yourself stuff like…
When I get there then I will do that.
When I lose 5 lbs I’ll do that photoshoot.
When I get my shit together then I will help others to get their stuff together.
When I get my ducks in a row and have all the details figured out then I will launch the biz I really want.
When I get the money than I will hire that coach I want to work with.
When I feel better about myself then I will do that scary thing.
Or, whatever else you want to insert above.
I think you catch my drift.
You are basically playing the waiting game.
When this happens then I will do ____ or be ____.
Here’s the thing.
If you want to get there, wherever there is in order to get there, you need to be the person who is there already.
Nothing shifts or moves until you shift and move.
So, if you are not already this person who has the things you want, and obviously, you actually are not yet, that person, or you would have the thing you want, how do you be that person?
Actually, it’s really, really simple, but you’re not going to like it.
At least I know I did not like it at first when I figured it out.
And that is because, while it is simple, it is not always easy.
In fact, it’s often really hard.
It’s really hard because we get what we expect to get.
We get what we are putting out there.
So, for instance, if you want to let’s say a new client. You put out the energy of wanting a new client. Everything you do and see and be usually puts out the energy of wanting a new client.
But this is the energy that usually repels a new client.
Because when you say you want something that you do not have you are usually including the vibration of the thing you are lacking in your vibration.
Okay, let’s make this really simple.
Have you heard of the idea of Ask and you shall receive?
Most likely, yes.
Okay, so you ask for something. In this case, a new client.
Then you receive a new client.
Ask and you shall receive.
Yes, but most of the time, do you catch yourself asking again and again and again and again for the new client to show up?
You go searching for the new client.
You keep asking the universe, hey, I asked, where is my new client?
Every Time you do this, or something similar you are including the vibration of the the wanting into the equation. You want a client because you do not have one, so you are focusing on the wrong side of the equation.
Instead, ask yourself, If I already had that new client I am asking for what would I be doing? This will help you to access who you need to be to get the new client.
For instance, you may set up the contract.
You may clear your schedule to make sure you can work with the client.
You may set up a new file folder on your desktop.
Etc. etc. etc.
I think you get the drift.
The one thing that you would not do is say, hey where’s my client? (which is what you are doing everytime you ask again, for the new client) or you worry about where the client is coming from, etc. etc.
You need to be the person now.
Tap into the infinite being you truly be and ask yourself, who do I need to be, and what would I be doing if I already had the thing I want.
Then go do that, and be that version of you.
Ignore everything else that tells you it has not yet happened and soon you will start to notice that it begins to fade away and new things start to show up for you.
It really can be that simple.
