What is an Online Business Manager? And Why Do I Need One?

They say that the key to expand a business is the ability to manage some of the finer details. An expanding business puts a lot of pressure to the owner to deliver. Time management, together with energy management, becomes more crucial as the business becomes larger. In such situations, it is important to know how to delegate objectives and projects. An online business manager (also known as an OBM) can help you do that.

There are lots of ways an OBM can help with your business, here are a few:

  • Allowing you to automate your systems and operating procedures of your day-to-day operations.
  • Coming up with better, more efficient ways to do things in your business
  • Coming up with job descriptions and helping you to figure out what you can get off your plate and how to get it off your plate.

In addition to the direct benefits of OBM, an OBM allows you to focus your time and energy on certain business aspects that only you can address (e.g.: talking to clients, developing products and projects). Doing so makes your business more efficient, and also helps you manage your own time and energy that comes in a shorter supply as you progress further with your business venture.

An online business manager can help you in so many ways. In addition, it frees you up to make the most out of your business and life.

I found your post very interesting.

Is an Online Business Manager different from a Social Media Manager? I guess it probably is.

There must be many companies who are holding back their own progress and growth through lack of time and skills that I’m sure you could provide!

Thanks Valerie, and yes in answer to your question, a Social Media Manager is quiet different than on Online Business Manager. There are different types of Online Business Managers and different ways that we work with businesses. For instance, some OBM’s work with the business owners on a day to day basis managing their businesses and getting things off the business owners plate and making sure things are getting done. OBM’s can also provide strategy and coaching around business management helping business owners to leverage their growth, set up business foundations with the proper systems and team in place. I would love to chat with you more about this if you are interested, you may access my online calendar here:https://Tungle.me/KimBeckers if you would like to set up a quick chat!:-)
