What exactly are you waiting for?
Why are you wasting so much time on BS that doesn’t matter?
Oh wait, I know, because you are scared to put the real you out there, if you put the real you out there and you go all in and people do not respond then I guess that you are a piece of shit and what you have to say does not matter. But if you pretend that you don’t really care, that you don’t go all in, that it doesn’t really matter, if you don’t really go after what you want, well then no harm no foul, right?
Wrong, because you are fucking destroying yourself, you are beating yourself up and you are destroying your confidence and you are creating the exact thing that you do not want.
You are freaking obsessed with it, you waste the entire day away and before you know it the week is gone, the month is gone, and bam the freaking year is gone.
You did it again, you are worse off then you were before, but you feel okay, or at least you tell yourself that because you are just not ready yet. You need a little more time to get ready, to unleash yourself onto the world. To go all in.
But really, this cycle continues and continues because the thing you fear, it’s freaking you, and the thing you fear people will find out, that is the thing they need to hear. That is the thing that your people need to hear in order for them to have that lightbulb moment that says, okay, I am awake, what now?
But if you keep on pretending that you are okay, that you have more important things to do, then you don’t have to face the fact that you could be rejected, that maybe what you have to say does not matter.
And nothing ever changes.
You are stagnant.
Your business dies.
You die inside.
You go on Facebook, and you check emails, you research this and that, but you never really go all in. But you pretend that you are going all in, so that you can feel good about yourself. What happens though is that you are not all in, and instead like I said, it shatters your confidence because, duh, what you are doing isn’t working and let’s face it, it makes you feel like shit.
Oh, what a familiar feeling, you were told your entire life, you are a piece of shit, you do not matter, you will never amount to anything, you are worthless, you are a loser.
So, you blame your past, your parents, your teachers, your environment.
And nothing changes.
Nothing can change.
Because you refuse to change.
You are playing the victim.
You refuse to take responsibility.
Hey, it wasn’t me who fucked me up. It was ______.
And you are right, well, sorta, kinda right anyway.
It’s not your fault.
That you grew up in a shitty environment.
That your parents could not love you the way you needed to be loved.
That you were different.
That you were an outcast.
But, and this is a big but.
You are responsible.
You are responsible to change it.
You are not longer that scared little girl who’s life depends on your family.
You are a grown adult.
With scars, and wounds, and pain.
Yes, many of which or all of which have been caused by the past and none of which can be healed until YOU take responsibility.
You take responsibility for changing it.
For loving YOU.
No matter how deep these wounds cut.
And I know, first hand, how deep some of these or perhaps all of these wounds cut.
It doesn’t matter, in fact, the deeper they cut, the more they have to offer.
The bigger the wound, the bigger the reward.
I don’t know about you, but I came here to experience freedom, to have what I want, to create what I want, to be who I want, and to make an impact on the world in a way that only I can.
And how do you experience freedom, at its greatest expression?
You have the opposite of it.
You have the struggle.
You grow up in shitty environments, with parents that did not have the capacity to give you what you needed, that probably should have not had kids in the first place.
But, it’s you and only YOU who can change this.
Once you stop blaming your past on your current results, and you embrace it, you take off the mask, you can see the gift.
And the gift is big, it’s HUGE.
But in order to do that, you gotta be willing to take responsibility.
To look into the depths of your soul, the good, the bad, the ugly, all of it, nothing is off limits.
If you want to live without limits, then you need to accept all of you.
You cannot fight something that you cannot admit is true.
You cannot fight something that you are not willing to be responsible for.
The truth is, it doesn’t matter if it’s your fault or not for what happened to you.
YOU are the only one who can change it.
You and you alone, sure you probably need some help along the way. I know I did, I know I still do.
But don’t think for a second that you can pretend and wish your way out of this, and think that your past doesn’t affect you, because it does, it just does not have to define you.
You see, your past will actually set you free, your past was designed to set you free, how else would you have the contrast of knowing what real freedom was unless you had it taken away from you?
We live in a world of polarization, of opposites.
The truth is, there is no good or bad, right or wrong, everything just is. And everything that you have experienced up until this point has been designed to help you, your past has a gift, are you ready to open it?
The only way out is through?
The only way through is to take off the mask, to break down the facade, to stop pretending.
So, you have 3 choices.
1- you can do nothing, and I am pretty sure you know what that will get you, the same thing you have been getting, so I’d like to think that is really not even a choice?
2 – you can trial and error your way there, and maybe one day, if you’re “lucky” you will get there, maybe in a year or two, or three or four, that is unless you give up first because your confidence in yourself has been shattered.
3 – you could work with someone who can dive into the deep end with you, be your guide to help you find your way through the cave of darkness so that you can shine the light, and get the gifts that are yours, that are waiting for you, so that you can unleash yourself onto the world, so that you can create a business and a life that is in alignment with who you are, so that you can be free, once and for all and have the confidence you have always dreamed of. (hint: this is the smart option, this is the option that will supercharge your results, and takes the guess work out of what makes you unique, what makes you stand out, that makes you confident from the inside out, no more faking, or pretending, this is the short cut.)
What do you choose?
P.S. If you are ready for the short cut, then I’d love to help you, but only if you are ready, because the truth is, it’s a bumpy freaking ride, you have to be willing to take responsibility, you have to be willing to look at the deep, dark shit you have been hiding about yourself for your entire life. You have to be willing to go all in, to hold nothing back, you gotta want it more than anything.
If that’s you, and you are ready to unleash your inner badass out onto the world and you are ready to see the gift in the shit, to become that diamond in the rough, then apply to work with, I’d love to help you do just that. Just reply here now and let me know that you are ready and why you’d like my help.
hey, I’m Kim + I am ridiculously passionate about helping you to work smarter and not harder + to realize how freaking amazing you actually are, exactly as you are and how easy business really can be when you are in alignment + simplify + add systems to organize your business + plan your business growth. I’ve been geeking out about online business, online marketing + systems + personal development + all that stuff since I created my first business back in 2006 + sold it.
This whole business owner thing is not for the faint of heart, there is a reason why most businesses fail!
While the road to burnout doesn’t look the same for everyone on it there are some similarities you typically experience on this path!
- You’re always in the weeds of your business
- You don’t have efficient systems and processes (or maybe none at all)
- You aren’t delegating effectively
- You can’t take time off
- You’re trying to do too many things at once + wearing all the hats
It’s exhausting just thinking about it! But there’s a way off the hamster wheel!
If you’re overwhelmed, overworked, stressed out, and worried that if you take time off the bottom will fall out from beneath you and your business will fall apart.
Then, you are in the right place my friend, been there, done that, got the tee-shirt and I’d love to support you in ending the cycle!
